Job description

Your Tasks

Onepage GmbH is an AI-first SaaS company with 19,000 paying customers and over 250,000 users, making it one of the largest platforms in the web presence sector in German-speaking countries. With Onepage AI 2.0, modern, fast, and conversion-strong websites and landing pages are created via prompt – and remain fully controllable in the visual editor afterwards.

Onepage is founder-led, self-financed, and profitable, and we are just starting the next chapter: Onepage is becoming a group. The website builder remains our engine. Around it, we are building a portfolio of software brands that are relevant to our target audience – small and medium-sized enterprises and agencies.
For this, we are building a new function within the company – and are looking for the person who will build it with us. You will work directly with the CEO and the Finance team, build the pipeline, evaluate deals, and maintain contact with the owners of potential targets.

Do you want to not only accompany deals but also think along, negotiate along, and decide along? Come on board as an M&A Manager (m/f/d)!

Your Tasks

  • Market Screening & Target Identification: You will identify potential acquisition candidates (targets) and evaluate them together with our CEO and Finance team based on strategic criteria.
  • Deal Flow & Pipeline: You will systematically build our deal flow – via direct outreach, brokers, networks, and our ecosystem of customers and agency partners – and maintain a structured pipeline.
  • Exchange with Targets: You will be in direct exchange with owners and management of potential target companies and establish an initial basis for discussion.
  • Deal Analysis & Valuation: Together with the Finance team, you will prepare company valuations (e.g., DCF, multiplier methods) and business cases for possible transactions.
  • Due Diligence: You will support the commercial, legal, and tax due diligence of target companies – in coordination with the CEO, Finance team, and external advisors (lawyers, tax advisors, auditors).
  • Negotiation & Structuring: You will prepare negotiations of Term Sheets, LOIs, and purchase agreements and accompany them together with the CEO.
  • Transaction Support: You will support transactions from initiation to signing/closing in close coordination with the CEO and Finance.
  • Post-Merger Integration: You will support integration planning after an acquisition and develop an integration playbook with us that we can reuse deal by deal.

Your Profile

  • Work Experience: You have several years of professional experience in M&A, Investment Banking, Transaction Services, Corporate Finance, or Strategy Consulting.
  • Education: You have a completed degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a comparable field.
  • Know-how: You have in-depth knowledge of company valuation and financial modeling.
  • SaaS Understanding: You understand how software companies work – ARR, Net Revenue Retention, Churn, CAC – and can derive a valuation logic from this. Experience with Buy-&-Build models or software deals is a big plus.
  • Due Diligence: You have experience in conducting or supporting due diligence processes.
  • Communication: You convince with a confident demeanor and strong communication skills in dealing with managing directors and owners.
  • Work Style: You work independently, structured, and with high initiative in actively approaching targets.
  • Network: Ideally, you bring contacts in the software, hosting, or agency scene – or the ability to build them quickly.
  • Languages: You speak very good German and English.

What you can look forward to:

  • Build-up Role: You are the first person at Onepage to exclusively focus on M&A. Processes, tools, and playbooks will be created with you – not before you.
  • Direct Line: You will work directly with the CEO and the Finance team; decisions are made quickly.
  • Visibility: Your work will shape what the Onepage group looks like in three years.
  • Remote-First: Work 100% remotely and enjoy maximum flexibility in your daily work.
  • Health: Your health is important to us – we support you with supplementary health insurance and a subsidy for the Wellhub health program.
  • Sustainable Benefits: Receive attractive employee discounts in many categories through FutureBens.
  • Co-creation & Development: Actively contribute your ideas, help shape processes, and expand your skills through continuous training.
