M&A Attorney

Partner One is a long-term acquirer and operator of mission-critical software companies. We focus on sustainable growth, operational excellence, and building value across our global portfolio of software businesses. We are seeking an M&A Attorney to join our legal team and support global acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, and corporate legal matters. The ideal candidate is a mid to senior-level M&A associate from a reputable law firm or in-house team, with experience in software or technology transactions. **Responsibilities:** * Manage all aspects of M&A transactions, including due diligence, drafting and negotiating transaction documents, and closing. * Advise on structuring M&A transactions, including tax and other considerations. * Collaborate with business development, finance, and other internal teams. * Manage outside counsel effectively and efficiently. * Support the company's corporate governance activities. * Support other legal matters as needed. **Qualifications:** * JD degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing. * 5+ years of relevant experience, with a focus on M&A transactions. * Experience in software or technology transactions preferred. * Strong understanding of M&A legal and regulatory issues. * Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively. * Highly organized and detail-oriented. **Benefits:** * Competitive salary * Health, dental, and vision insurance * Paid time off * 401(k) plan * Opportunities for professional development Partner One is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity at our company.
