A leading pan-African investment bank is seeking an ambitious and driven M&A Associate to join their high-performing investment banking team based in Johannesburg. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare compelling pitches and presentations for origination and deal execution.

• Build and maintain robust financial models and conduct valuations for M&A and capital-raising deals.

• Draft key transaction documents including teasers and information memorandums.

• Support due diligence processes, manage datarooms, and respond to bidder queries.

• Assist in coordinating with legal and financial advisors and preparing deal-related documentation.

• Engage directly with clients, investors, and potential bidders.

• Perform KYC and background checks during client onboarding.

• Lead, manage, and mentor junior team members.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Investments, or a related field.

• Strong academic background (Mathematics 80%+, English 70%+ or equivalent A-levels).

• 3–5 years of experience in corporate finance, valuations, transaction advisory, or private equity.

• Confident communicator with excellent financial modelling and analytical skills.

• Open to applicants of all nationalities and backgrounds.
