M&A Analyst (m/f/d)

For our team, we are looking for an Analyst (m/f/d) for the Mergers & Acquisitions department at our Frankfurt am Main location, starting January 1, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Active involvement in sell-side mandates, particularly the preparation of information memoranda, management presentations, and teasers
• Active involvement in acquisition activities to gain new mandates
• Conducting financial and valuation analyses (DCF, LBO, CoCos / CoTrans)
• Independent market and company research
• Support in preparing data rooms and managing due diligence processes
• Working with databases

Qualifications

• Successfully completed business studies (Bachelor/Master), ideally with a focus on finance
• 1-3 years of relevant professional experience in M&A, transaction-oriented management consulting, corporate finance consulting, or investment banking
• Very good German and English skills (written and spoken)
• Independent, structured, and responsible work ethic
• Strong analytical and technical skills
• High motivation, resilience, and confident demeanor
• Team player with appropriate soft skills
• Above-average knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
