The Global Fleet Manager will be responsible for the overall management of CIMMYT's fleet of vehicles, including procurement, maintenance, and logistics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, fleet management, and international development, with experience in managing complex projects and teams. The Global Fleet Manager will be expected to work closely with the Operations team to ensure the efficient and effective use of resources, and to develop and implement strategies for the management of the fleet. The position will also involve collaborating with other departments within CIMMYT to ensure the integration of fleet management with other organizational activities. The Global Fleet Manager will be based in Mexico City, Mexico, and will be required to travel frequently to CIMMYT's offices and project sites around the world. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the importance of fleet management in the context of international development, and will be able to demonstrate a commitment to the values and mission of CIMMYT. The Global Fleet Manager will be expected to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and to be able to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
