DAS BAUGRUND INSTITUT - Dipl.-Ing. Knierim GmbH has been active nationwide on all aspects of geotechnics for over 30 years and has a team of long-experienced engineers, geologists, and hydrogeologists. Currently, there are 50 employees who provide independent consulting services at a high level.

Our services include particularly the subfields of site investigation and foundation planning, engineering and hydrology, soil remediation, land development, and recycling, as well as ground engineering, environmental geotechnics, waste management, deposal technology, backfilling, and laboratory and field tests, soil mechanics.

We offer comprehensive solutions for geotechnical investigations, site reports, and consulting services for construction projects. We work on a wide range of exciting and challenging projects that range from large infrastructure projects to complex high-rise buildings.

Our references include extensive geotechnical investigations for bridge construction projects, underground garages, wind turbines, and innovative building projects in the field of sustainable energy. Our expertise and focus on quality enable us to realize significant construction projects that meet the highest standards.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a geologist or civil engineer who will support us in processing various site investigations. If needed and interested, we offer the opportunity to get involved in geotechnical tasks and set corresponding priorities.

Tasks

• Conducting geological and geotechnical field surveys as well as site analyses
• Preparing site reports and geological reports for a wide range of construction projects
• Consulting building owners and planners on the selection of suitable foundation types and construction methods
• Processing projects in the fields of high-rise buildings, civil engineering, and infrastructure
• Documented and evaluating the results of the investigations
• Participating in the development of innovative solutions for geotechnical issues
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and external partners

Qualification

• Completed studies to Master/Bachelor/Dipl.-Geologist/in/Dipl.-Ing./in
• Communication, team skills, and assertiveness
• Self-responsible and independent work
• High willingness to engage, flexibility, and self-reliance
• Pleasantly also newcomers
• Good IT and office knowledge
• Car driving license
• Very good German language skills in writing and speaking.
