POSITION OVERVIEW: Guitar Center embodies the world’s most iconic music brands, and we’re looking for a talented Luthier to join our team. As a Luthier, you will be responsible for crafting and repairing guitars, basses, and other instruments. You will work closely with our sales team to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service and expertise. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and adhering to all safety protocols. If you have a passion for music and a talent for craftsmanship, we want to hear from you! Requirements: • 2+ years of experience as a Luthier or in a related field • Strong understanding of guitar construction and repair techniques • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively • High school diploma or equivalent required, associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time • Familiarity with guitar electronics and setup a plus.
