Loss Prevention (Security) Officer - The Warehouse Newmarket, (Full Time)

The Warehouse Newmarket in Auckland, New Zealand, is seeking a full-time Loss Prevention (Security) Officer to join our team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our customers and staff while preventing theft and minimising losses.

• Monitor store activities through CCTV systems and physical patrols to detect and deter potential security threats
• Apprehend shoplifters and assist in the investigation of internal theft cases
• Conduct security checks on incoming and outgoing merchandise
• Respond promptly to security alarms and emergency situations
• Collaborate with store management to implement and improve loss prevention strategies
• Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate security records
• Assist customers and staff in a professional and courteous manner when required
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant New Zealand security regulations

Hours of work are:

• Sundays to Thursdays 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
