Payroll Accountant (m/f/d)

The Flohr Holding bundles central commercial functions for several companies within our corporate group.

The group includes, among others, Lokspace GmbH, Locontact GmbH, Eisenbahn-Güterlogistik GmbH, as well as two other individual companies. For our location in Siegburg, we are looking for an experienced Payroll Accountant (m/f/d) who will reliably and independently manage the payroll processing for our companies.

Responsibilities

• Independent execution of monthly payroll for several companies
• Support for various employee groups within our corporate group
• Maintenance and control of all payroll-relevant master data
• Processing of new hires and departures
• Verification of working hours, absences, vacation, and other payroll-relevant data
• Creation of reports and certificates
• Communication with health insurance providers, tax authorities, and social security institutions
• Support for employees with payroll-related questions
• Preparation and support of wage tax and social security audits
• Coordination with financial accounting, HR managers, and management
• Cross-company reconciliation of personnel and payroll costs
• Maintenance and further development of digital payroll processes

We work with DATEV

Our payroll processing is done with DATEV Lohn und Gehalt.

Therefore, we require practical experience with DATEV Lohn und Gehalt for this position.

Qualifications

• Completed commercial, tax-related, or comparable vocational training
• Several years of practical professional experience in payroll accounting
• Good to very good knowledge of DATEV Lohn und Gehalt
• Very good knowledge of wage tax and social security law
• Experience with reporting and certification procedures
• Proficient in digital work processes
• Independent, structured, and reliable work approach
• High sense of responsibility and discretion
• Experience in supporting multiple companies is an advantage
