Job description
This company specializes in the production and processing of sea salt. Every day, thousands of tons of salt are shipped to more than 60 countries worldwide. The salt is used as food salt, but also as water softening salt, road salt, agricultural salt, and even as salt for swimming pools.
What will you do?
Your tasks will consist of 70% logistics tasks within the production department (forklift: inbound & outbound of pallets, big bags, etc.)
The other 30% of your tasks will consist of production-related tasks:
You will fill big bags and perform the necessary quality checks.
In the absence of your colleague production operator, you will independently operate the bag filling line or big bag installation.
Additionally, you will perform a number of cleaning tasks in the filling installation and production tower.
You will respect the applicable quality, hygiene, environmental, and safety regulations.
You will work in a 2-shift system (5 am - 1:10 pm / 1 pm - 9:10 pm)ProfileWhat do we expect from you?
You preferably already have several years of experience in a similar role.
You have a feel for rolling stock (forklift) and are in possession of the necessary certificates, or are willing to obtain them.
You are flexible in terms of job content and enjoy rolling up your sleeves.
You are a real team player, but functioning independently is also a must.
Experience in the food sector is a plus.
