Fruit Packer Forklift Driver

What will you do?

Within the packing station, the fruit is sorted by quality and size. Subsequently, the products are packaged in various packaging for our customers, often supermarkets. You will be an indispensable link in this process. You will work as much as possible on the forklift but you will also be all-round available in the warehouse.

How does your day look like? Armed with a forklift and a scanner, you start your day. You receive the delivered fruit, put it away at the right location, and check the quantities. In between, you may receive a phone call or you want to pick up the fruit that is ready at the packing station and prepare it for dispatch. You will also ensure that the fruit and extra handling are well recorded in the system using scanning. You are not yet done with this task or you see the new orders slowly coming in.

The first 2 months, you will receive a buddy assigned to you, who will fully introduce you to the organization and the work activities.

The working hours will take place in shifted services: between 6.00 and 19.00 hours.

On Saturdays, you will work according to the Saturday roster. That means that if you have an early shift, you will always work on Saturday, 6 days in a row. To compensate for this, you will receive a self-chosen day off during the week!

• Contract for 7 months
• Salary between €12.78 and €15.08 based on age and experience
• Travel expense allowance for work-related travel
• If you work before 6.00 am (+40%) and after 19.00 pm (+25%) you will receive an irregularity allowance on top of your salary
• If you work on Sunday? you will receive a +100% surcharge

​​​​​​You are a pro at maneuvering a forklift and drive safely through the warehouse. You are driven to fill the inventory safely at the workstations. But to sit on that chair all day? No thank you! You also find it pleasant to perform other tasks in the warehouse together with your team.

You will be working on:

A dynamic organization since the client has both the supply side and the demand side. By finding the right balance, the client has grown into a large player on the European market over the years. So, approximately 300 employees are busy every day with the fantastic product fruit. Additionally, depending on the season, various temporary workers are deployed.
