Logistics Clerk

Our client located in Tielt is looking for a motivated and eager-to-learn logistics clerk with a hands-on mentality!

What will be included in your tasks for this role?

• You will provide administrative support to various colleagues (this can range from invoicing to logistics)
• You will be the point of contact for customers both by phone and by email
• Filing and sorting transport documents through the weekly schedule
• Compiling and forwarding diesel reports to the main responsible person
• Arranging driver detachments
• Compiling empty goods reports using an Excel document
• Communicating with drivers (by phone or WhatsApp)
• All-round logistics administration

As a logistics clerk for our client located in Tielt, you ideally possess the following profile:

• If you can speak French, English, German, or even Romanian in addition to Dutch, you have an advantage
• You are stress-resistant and can handle pressure
• If you already have experience in International Transport, this is an advantage, but it is certainly not a must
• You have a sense of order and neatness
• You are a strong communicator with colleagues, customers, and drivers alike
• You are not afraid to take on new tasks; a hands-on mentality and drive are highly valued by our client
• You can work smoothly with the MS Office package
• You possess a driver's license type B (public transport is not an option)

Our client is a family business located in Tielt specializing in international refrigerated transport by road.

They have a fleet of approximately 40 vehicles and work with both their own and external drivers.
