Job description

- You are part of the nursing and care team
- You are responsible for department-specific supporting tasks and patient-oriented comfort measures to make the hospital stay of the patient as pleasant as possible
- You provide support to the nurses so that they have more time for direct patient care and thus contribute essentially to an improvement in patient care quality
- You take care of the patient's environment
- You check the equipment of the rooms, ensures the preparation of unoccupied beds
- You work on preparing and distributing meal trays and snacks
- You follow the rules regarding hospital hygiene, both when contacting patients as well as during hotel tasks, maintenance of equipment, waste disposal, and transportation of samples to the laboratory.
- You communicate quickly and clearly, you adapt to your conversation partner
- You are the logistical support for the nursing and care staff: you check, clean up, ensure re-stocking, package, clean, and disinfect materials
- You take care of transporting material from the healthcare department to all other departments and vice versa
- You help with stocking material and inventory management
- You are willing to work in a variable schedule with early and late shifts
