For our location in Bern (Bolligenstrasse 93), we are looking for a

Logistics Specialist, Deputy Team Leader (100 %)

A brief summary of the function and department.

Responsibilities

• You will ensure together with your team and team leader a smooth, efficient, and safe logistics process – from incoming goods to storage in the automated high-bay warehouse and supply of production departments to export delivery, always in accordance with GMP regulations.
• You will take responsibility for operational management of daily business on site, support the team leader in leading the department, and ensure process discipline, quality conformity, and compliance with applicable work safety regulations.
• You will coordinate in collaboration with your team leader the interfaces between incoming goods, storage, production, outgoing goods, and internal demand groups and ensure clear and comprehensible communication.
• You will perform logistical activities in a regulated pharmaceutical environment and work according to applicable GMP guidelines and under constant consideration of product and work safety requirements.
• You will record KPIs for reporting, participate in the continuous improvement process, and develop concepts for optimizing intralogistics further.
• You will work on cross-functional projects with and take over tasks in planning, coordination, or implementation of project contents.
  

Qualifications

• A completed education as a logistics specialist EFZ and a comprehensive further education (e.g. logistics expert/female or business administrator).
• Multiple years of experience in logistics, ideally in the regulated environment (pharma/food). First contacts with GxP are a plus.
• Safe handling of ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA) and LVS systems (e.g. LaSoft).
• Very good German language skills in writing and speaking, English language skills at level A2-B1.
• A very precise, extremely reliable, and high-quality conscious working style.
• A true leader personality: You lead operationally, pack with it, and share the vision to continuously optimize our in-house logistics.
• Readiness for flexible work assignments within the operational deployment times as well as openness for site-spanning support within the Site Logistics, if necessary.
• Possession of the SUVA forklift permit.
