Function What do you do? As Logistics Officer, you are the essential point of contact for truck drivers and visitors. You ensure that everything runs smoothly administratively and supports the entire logistical process from A to Z. Specific tasks of a Logistics Officer are: Welcoming drivers and guiding them to the correct location; Managing the reception, receiving visitors and answering incoming calls; Setting up the right parameters for the warehouse management system; Ensuring that all necessary documents are in order and available; Providing information to drivers about their route and any changes; Coordinating with other departments to ensure a smooth logistical process; Maintaining accurate records of all logistical activities; Identifying and resolving any issues or problems that may arise during the logistical process. Je zorgt ervoor dat alles administratief vlekkeloos verloopt en ondersteunt het gehele logistieke proces van A tot Z. Specifieke taken van een Logistics Officer zijn: Het verwelkomen van chauffeurs en hen naar de juiste locatie begeleiden; Het beheren van de receptie, bezoekers ontvangen en inkomende telefoons beantwoorden; Het instellen van de juiste parameters voor de warehouse management system; Zorgen dat alle noodzakelijke documenten in orde zijn en beschikbaar zijn; Geven informatie aan chauffeurs over hun route en eventuele wijzigingen; Coördineren met andere afdelingen om een vloeiend logistiek proces te garanderen; Het onderhouden van nauwkeurige registraties van alle logistieke activiteiten; Identificeren en oplossen van elk probleem of issue dat tijdens het logistiek proces kan ontstaan.
