Logistics Manager

Our client, a leading player in the logistics and supply chain industry, is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead the end-to-end logistics function for a single depot operation. Responsible for all inbound and outbound logistics activities, the successful candidate will ensure the smooth and efficient running of the depot while maintaining high service and operational standards The position is based in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal Minimum Requirements: Qualification and Experience: Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field; At least 3 years' experience in a logistics management role; Strong understanding of logistics principles, processes, and best practices; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment; Proficiency in MS Office applications; Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance requirements. Key Responsibilities: Manage the day-to-day operations of the depot, including scheduling, inventory control, and supply chain management; Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize depot performance and improve customer satisfaction; Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless integration with other business functions; Analyze data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement; Develop and manage budgets for logistics activities; Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
