Logistics Executive (QA & VAS)
Job description
Position Purpose:
As the Logistics Executive (QA and VAS), you will supervise, coordinate and plan the Value-Added Services (VAS), labelling activities, and its quality inspection for both in-process and finished products of all article types.
Principal Accountabilities:
· Plan, monitor, and coordinate all VAS activities, inspections, and testing for in-process and finished products.
· Conduct regular checks & quality audit to ensure brand partner and customer specifications are met, according to SOP and required standards.
· Develop & review SOP's, packing and work instructions to determine accuracy, validity and completeness for conducting sample inspections of in-process and finished product of all article types.
· Assist Regional QA Lead, Logistics Manager & Inbound Team Lead to prepare data analysis, generating trend reports, productivity, Monthly KPI and Quality scorecard .
· Serve as the primary contact for conducting Root Cause Analysis for non-conformance for VAS activities.
· Assist Regional QA Lead, Logistics Manager & Inbound Team Lead with implementing and execution of the CAPA process.
· Oversee completion of QA and VAS training and re-training for new and current employees and maintain training records.
· Escalate quality concerns and support continuous improvement initiatives..
· Assist inbound and return teams as needed and participate in special projects.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
· Have a tertiary qualification or equivalent combination of relevant working experience that will allow the successful performance of job expectations.
- At least 2-3 years of working experience in the Warehouse Operations and/or QA/QC role.
- Knowledge of warehouse and logistics operations and Quality Assurance programme.
- Excellent communication skills, strong team player with a sense of urgency.
- Self-motivated work style but also comfortable with team-based work structure; ability to demonstrate flexibility on the job.
- Correctly perform the visual audit method of each product identifying quality issues.
- Ability to generate and write routine reports and correspondence.
- Attention to detail and ability to multi task.
- Proficiency in computer software especially Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Power Point.
- Self-driven, dynamic and eager to learn.
- Excellent communication, process management and supervisory skills.
- Power BI & SAP WMS knowledge added advantage
