Logistics Engineer 💻 to be part of our team.
At Fuerda Smartech, we're at the forefront of automotive technology. We specialize in designing, developing, and manufacturing mid-to-high-end automotive intelligent electronic integrated control systems, cutting-edge lighting solutions, production of air-vents, and other basic components for vehicles.
The company has three R&D centers and five manufacturing bases in Cixi, Ningbo and Shanghai; possesses a subsidiary and a R&D center in Germany to carry out synchronous design and development, marketing services and other work with overseas OEMs. In 2021, Fuerda built a production base in Romania to ensure the supply capacity to Europe as well as the rest of the world to further explore overseas markets.
Requirements:
- University degree in Engineering, Logistics,Transportation, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Logistics Specialist or Logistics Engineer role, preferably within the automotive manufacturing industry.
- Advanced English language skills, both written and spoken.
- In-depth understanding of logistics processes in a manufacturing plant.
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
- Excellent numerical and mathematical skills, with the ability to analyze data and interpret results.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Initiative, autonomy, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
- Strong documentation, organizational, and information management skills.
- High attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset.
- Analyze, design, and optimize logistics flows for materials, semi-finished goods, and finished products.
- Conduct logistics assessments, including internal material supply chain analyses, time studies, route analyses, and baseline assessments.
- Define and implement logistics flows for new projects and changes to existing manufacturing processes.
- Design and organize logistics areas according to operational needs and manufacturing process requirements.
- Manage logistics capacity by determining storage capacities and establishing maximum permitted stock levels.
- Assess the impact of volume fluctuations on logistics operations and propose appropriate adaptation and optimization solutions.
- Participate in the implementation and development of WMS, MES, and ERP systems.
- Create, update, and maintain databases and reports containing relevant logistics management information for various programs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
