Job description

My client is a company specialized in the management and transportation of critical components for the aerospace sector, with a particular focus on commercial aviation and global emergencies. Thanks to an international network and a highly qualified team, it offers customized logistics solutions to ensure speed, precision, and reliability in sensitive operations, supporting its clients throughout the process and is looking for a:

Role: Logistic Operation Specialist Air / Road
Location: Rome
Contract: Indeterminate
The remuneration will be negotiated based on the candidate's experience

The selected figure will have the task of managing and coordinating international logistics operations related to critical materials destined for grounded aircraft (AOG - Aircraft on Ground), ensuring rapid intervention, accuracy in documentation, and full respect for sector regulations.

Main responsibilities:
  • Organization and management of international shipments in import and export (via air, road, and express couriers) for aeronautical components AOG.
  • Constant interaction with freight forwarders, customs offices, warehouses, airlines, and final customers to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Supervision of shipment status and updating of company's information systems.
  • Control and preparation of technical and customs documentation (such as DDT, AWB, EASA Form 1, etc.).
  • Logistical-operational support to clients and internal departments in emergency situations related to grounded aircraft.


Requirements:

  • Diploma in logistics, aeronautics, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in contexts related to aeronautical logistics or international shipments.
  • In-depth knowledge of AOG procedures and, preferably, familiarity with Export Control and dual-use regulations.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written.
  • Good knowledge of main IT tools and management systems for logistics.
  • Precision, autonomy, ability to work under pressure, and problem-solving attitude.
