Logistics Manager
Job description
Coordinates the activity of managing the truck fleet:
- supervises truck maintenance and repairs
- supervises the conduct of relations with insurance companies
- checks and negotiates repair and maintenance rates with service units
- checks fuel consumption for the fleet
- supervises the activity of garage managers/dispatchers - running transport routes, hiring drivers, compliance with company procedures, etc...
- supervises tire management activity
- selects the personnel necessary for carrying out transport activity (dispatchers, garage manager, etc.)
- availability for travel to work points in the country (3 work points)
- proposes cost reduction methods to management
- reports operational problems to management and proposes solutions for resolution.
