Logistic Capacity Procurement Representative

Job description

Company in the logistic sector, You must have experience in logistic, NOT engineering or manufacturing procurement Under routine supervision, the Capacity Procurement Representative is responsible the for negotiation of rates to meet load expectations while ensuring optimal margins. The incumbent will market the J.B. Hunt Carrier360 platform to carriers to increase efficiency and freight movement visibility. The incumbent is responsible for establishing a carrier base, ensuring freight is covered by at least one carrier, and maintaining a high level of service quality. This role requires strong communication skills, ability to work independently, and excellent problem-solving skills. The Capacity Procurement Representative will also be responsible for identifying and resolving any issues that may arise during the procurement process.
