Logistic Assistant for Oncology and Hematology Department A311 (m/f/x)

We are looking for an organized and efficient Logistic Assistant for our oncology- and hematologiezorgeenheid A311 in Brussels, Belgium.

• You will be part of the nursing and care team
• You are responsible for department-specific supporting tasks and patient-centered comfort cares to make the hospital stay of the patient as pleasant as possible
• You provide support to the nurses so that they have more time for direct patient care and contribute essentially to an improvement in patient care quality
• You take care of the patient's environment
• You check the equipment of the rooms, ensure the preparation of unoccupied beds
• You work on preparing and distributing meal trays and snacks
• You follow hospital hygiene rules, both when interacting with patients and during hotel tasks, maintenance of equipment, waste disposal, and transportation of samples to the laboratory.
• You communicate quickly and clearly, adapting to your conversation partner
• You are the logistical support for the nursing and care staff: you check, clean up, ensure re-stocking, package, clean, and disinfect materials
• You take care of transporting material from the healthcare department to all other departments and vice versa
• You help with inventory management and supply chain management
• You are willing to work in a variable schedule with early and late shifts
