Job description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lodge Manager to oversee the daily operations of a luxury safari lodge. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, a passion for hospitality, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences while maintaining the highest operational and environmental standards.

- Oversee all lodge operations, including guest services, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Drive an exceptional guest experience from arrival to departure.
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures across departments.
- Manage budgets, stock control, and financial reporting.
- Oversee maintenance schedules to ensure lodge infrastructure and equipment are in excellent condition.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislation.
- Foster strong relationships with guests, staff, suppliers, and local stakeholders.
- Support conservation and sustainability initiatives within the lodge and surrounding reserve.
RequirementsRequirements:
- Proven experience in lodge or hospitality management, ideally in a safari or luxury lodge environment.
- Strong leadership, people management, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and administrative ability.
- Financial acumen, with experience in budget management and cost control.
- Knowledge of conservation principles and sustainable lodge practices advantageous
- Ability to work in a remote environment with flexibility and resilience.
- Hospitality or tourism qualification beneficial.
