Your Role as a Locum Dental Nurse
You’ll play a key role in supporting clinicians and patients across various practices. Typical duties include:

• Assisting dentists during a wide range of treatments and procedures
• Preparing and maintaining equipment, instruments, and materials
• Ensuring surgeries remain clean, organised, and fully stocked
• Following infection control and cross-infection protocols
• Providing reassuring chairside support to patients
• Maintaining accurate records in line with GDC and CQC standards
• Supporting the smooth running of the dental team throughout the day

What We’re Looking For

• GDC registration (essential)
• Previous experience in NHS or private dental settings
• Excellent chairside manner and attention to detail
• Knowledge of cross-infection control and decontamination procedures
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A commitment to high clinical standards and ongoing CPD
