LOADER/FOKLIFT OPERATOR

As LOADER/FOKLIFT OPERATOR, you may perform the following activities:

As DISMANTLER – responsible for transporting finished material from plants to loading areas, maintaining a safe and orderly yard. Also performs movements of raw materials between plants, dismantling containers of scrap metal and providing service to internal customers by performing maneuvers of paint drums, pallets, containers, etc.

As LOADING OPERATOR - responsible for loading finished material for export to the customer. The employee works in a team with the LOADER to design the load configuration and place each piece on the trailer safely and optimally.

As LOADER – has the responsibility of tracking loaded pieces and filling out the shipper for each load that will serve as a guide and evidence of shipment. Works at heights (on the loading platform), must wear harnesses, and spends most of the time on the platform. Works in conjunction with their team member (loader) to design the load configuration and guide it for correct placement of each piece, so as to design each load safely and optimally.
