License Manager (m/w/d)
Job description
You enjoy keeping an overview when it comes to software, licenses, and compliance? Then this position in a globally active financial services company in Cologne offers the ideal opportunity to apply your expertise and further develop it.
In this role, you will be responsible for building and developing a corporate-wide Software Asset Management (SAM) and shape structures, processes, and guidelines actively with. You will work closely with IT, procurement, and departmental teams – nationally and internationally.
Tasks
- Structures create: You develop and maintain corporate-wide guidelines for license management and ensure their consistent implementation.
- Advise & train: You are the point of contact for departments on all matters related to licenses, compliance, and contract design.
- Kosten im Blick behalten: You analyze license models, evaluate license volumes, and ensure transparency and efficiency in license costs.
- Contracts accompany: Together with internal partners, you design license contracts and pay attention to clear, legally secure regulations.
- Systems build: You support the setup and introduction of a modern SAM system and establish sustainable processes.
- Transparency creates: You create regular reports and derive recommendations for management from them.
Qualification
Your Profile
- Completed studies in Economics, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification
- Mult-year experience in license management, ideally in an international environment
- Fundamental knowledge of license models, providers, and SAM systems
- Analytical, structured thinking, and a good understanding of processes and compliance
- Very good German and English skills, as well as a confident demeanor when dealing with internal and external stakeholders
- Careful, self-responsible working style and pleasure in interdisciplinary cooperation
