Litigation Solicitor

Are you ready to take your civil litigation experience to the next level? A respected mid-sized Auckland firm is seeking a Civil Litigation Solicitor to join their collaborative and supportive team. This role offers exposure to a diverse range of civil disputes and real courtroom experience, without the pressure of a high-volume “sausage factory” environment.

The Team

You’ll work closely with a Senior Associate who brings a thorough, detail-oriented approach to supervision. While relatively new to managing others, they are approachable, supportive, and committed to helping you grow. The Director provides oversight and pastoral care, ensuring a positive, people-focused culture.

What You’ll Work On

As part of the team, you’ll handle a wide variety of civil litigation matters, including:

• Debt collection
• Property disputes
• Breach of contract
• Trust disputes
• Estate disputes
• Shareholder disputes
• Tenancy disputes
• Defamation

Court Exposure

• Approximately two trials per year
• Court appearances roughly once every two months for interlocutory applications
• Opportunity to develop courtroom confidence and practical litigation skills
