Litigation Lawyer - 1-2 Years PQE

You’ll join a small, friendly, and highly committed team led by experienced senior lawyers who value strong analytical thinking, commercial awareness, and a proactive approach. The firm works across a wide mix of litigation and transactional matters, giving you the chance to sharpen your advocacy skills while also developing a strong commercial grounding.

You’ll be supported closely by senior practitioners, but also encouraged to take real ownership of your files and contribute to driving outcomes for a diverse client base. For the right candidate, there is also opportunity to supervise less experienced juniors once you’ve settled into the role.

This position is ideal for someone with at least 1-2 years PQE who is eager to accelerate their learning, deliver high quality work, and thrive in a team that values integrity, initiative, and commercial problem solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and progress your own commercial litigation files with appropriate supervision
• Draft pleadings, letters of demand, witness statements, and other core litigation documents
• Conduct legal research and analyse complex fact patterns
• Engage directly with clients, counsel and third parties
• Assist with directions hearings, mediations, negotiations and broader matter strategy
• Contribute to transactional matters across property, insurance, construction and general commercial
• Once established, assist in supporting more junior team members

What We’re Looking For

• 1-2+ years PQE in commercial litigation
• Strong drafting, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
• Down to earth, commercially astute personality with a strong work ethic
• Someone proactive, reliable and committed to producing high quality work
