Linux - System Administrator (m/f/d) - Full-time
Job description
We are Getränkeland - THE DRINK EXPERTS, as a medium-sized and family-run corporate group, we are active with almost 100 branches and around 600 employees in four federal states. Our business areas include stationary retail as well as wholesale, e-commerce with beverages, and software development.
Tasks
- Installation and application administration of Linux systems
- Troubleshooting and provision of initial solutions through remote support
- Qualified fault reception by phone
- Participation in on-call duty
- Monitoring and performance analysis
- Carrying out regular maintenance work (extensions, updates)
- Ensuring IT security and participation in data protection and EDV compliance issues
- Support with installation and administration of Windows systems
- Installation and administration of databases (MySQL / IBM DB2)
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training in the IT sector (e.g., IT specialist system integration) or comparable qualification, or career changers with relevant expertise are welcome
- Proficient in LINUX
- Basic knowledge of SQL, Shell Scripting
- High service orientation and communication skills
- Reliability, resilience, and organizational talent
- Strong communication, team spirit, and confident demeanor
- Enjoyment of independent work
