We are looking for a Linux System Administrator (m/w) on behalf of an internationally operating technology company. The company develops and markets sophisticated, software- and system-based solutions for security-critical infrastructure in the mobility field.

Tasks

• You operate, maintain, and optimize internal IT systems as well as the associated infrastructure and ensure availability, performance, user-friendliness, and IT security according to BSI-Grundschutz.
• You analyze disturbances, develop suitable solution approaches, implement them, and document changes within the framework of system documentation, change, and patch management.
• You develop the existing system landscape together with internal IT and support colleagues in technical questions and IT problems in everyday work.

Qualification

• You have experience in administering Linux systems (ideally Debian) and are familiar with application management like Jira, Confluence, or Nextcloud.
• You have experience with IT infrastructures and technologies like Sophos, OPNsense, or Proxmox.
• You work independently, think technically and analytically, handle sensitive information confidentially, and enjoy working in a team.
