Aufgaben

Deine Mission
We are looking for you as Linux System Platform Engineer (m/w/d) at Standort München (hybrid).

Your tasks will be:

• Konzeption, Design und Implementierung sicherer Linux-basierter Plattforminfrastrukturen with focus on scalability, maintainability and security
• Responsibility for the further development of the operating system architecture for use in different product platforms
• Creation and maintenance of system concepts on the system level including interface management in close coordination with relevant stakeholders
• Development and integration of product features as well as individual software components within the platform architecture
• Creation, maintenance and maintenance of Linux-based operating system images for use in platform-independent system environments
• Evaluation, selection and introduction of new technologies for continuous further development of the platform infrastructure
• Closely coordinated with development teams and systems engineering to coordinate technical dependencies and system integrations

Qualifikation

Deine Profil
You should definitely bring the following knowledge and skills:

• Completed studies in computer science, mathematics, physics or a comparable technical field
• Fundamental knowledge in the development and adaptation of Linux/Unix-based systems, ideally with a focus on Yocto environments
• Very good knowledge in Python and Bash scripting as well as safe handling of Linux and Unix systems
• Knowledge in software development with C/C++
• Knowledge in the handling of IT security in the Linux environment, for example SELinux, AppArmor, Hardening or secure system configurations
• Knowledge in the handling of container technologies, for example Kubernetes or Podman
• Experience in vulnerability management (CVE analysis) as well as in evaluating software components for security risks
• Experience with CI/CD and automated build/test pipelines, preferably in the GitLab environment
• For effective communication in the project environment as well as with our German-speaking customers, very good spoken and written German is required
