Linux Administrator (m/f/d)

For our client, an established IT service provider with a modern and versatile IT infrastructure, we are looking for a Linux Administrator (m/f/d).

A varied position awaits you, focusing on Linux systems, data center operations, and automation. In addition to your technical expertise, your communication skills are also in demand, as you will work closely with colleagues and various contact persons.

Your Mission

• Administration, support, and further development of Linux server landscapes
• Ensuring stable and secure system and data center operations
• Automation and optimization of operational processes
• Support of virtualization and container environments
• Analysis and resolution of technical faults
• Collaboration with internal teams and consultation on technical issues

Your Superpowers

• Experience in Linux system administration, ideally with Ubuntu, Debian, or Red Hat
• Knowledge in server operations and modern IT infrastructures
• Ideally, experience with Ansible, GitLab CI, or Jenkins
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, VMware, or Proxmox is an advantage
• Initial experience with scripting, for example Bash or Python
