Linux Administrator

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Linux Administrator to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day administration and maintenance of our Linux servers and infrastructure. This includes, but is not limited to, the following: * Installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux servers * Monitoring server performance and troubleshooting issues * Managing user accounts and permissions * Implementing and maintaining security protocols * Performing backups and disaster recovery * Automating tasks and processes * Collaborating with other IT staff to resolve issues **Responsibilities:** * Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (Ubuntu, CentOS) * Monitor server performance and troubleshoot issues * Manage user accounts and permissions * Implement and maintain security protocols, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems * Perform backups and disaster recovery * Automate tasks and processes using scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) * Collaborate with other IT staff to resolve issues * Document all server configurations and procedures * Stay up-to-date with the latest Linux technologies and security best practices **Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field * 3+ years of experience as a Linux Administrator * Strong understanding of Linux operating systems (Ubuntu, CentOS) * Experience with server virtualization (e.g., VMware, KVM) * Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) * Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) * Experience with networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) * Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team **Bonus Points:** * Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) * Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef) * Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix) * Experience with security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) **Benefits:** * Competitive salary * Health insurance * Paid time off * Professional development opportunities * A fun and collaborative work environment If you are a highly motivated and experienced Linux Administrator looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity, we encourage you to apply.
