For Zorginstituut Nederland, we are looking for a Linked Data Engineer. Will you contribute to a future-proof information provision in healthcare? Within the KIK-V program, information-seeking parties such as ActiZ, Inspectie Gezondheidszorg and Jeugd (IGJ), Ministerie van VWS, Nederlandse Zorgautoriteit (NZa), Patiëntenfederatie Nederland, Zorginstituut Nederland (ZIN), Zorgkantoren and Zorgverzekeraars Nederland (ZN) work together with healthcare providers to better align and exchange data. The goal of the program is that as a healthcare provider, you can easily and safely share data with various information-seeking parties. This happens by working together with chain partners to make agreements on which data are exchanged for what reasons and by developing technology that makes this exchange possible. As a result, information requests are better aligned, data is registered once in the source systems and used multiple times, and we work towards data availability. This leads to a high-quality information household and an efficient and effective exchange process. You benefit from significant advantages, including a reduction of administrative burdens. The most important added value of KIK-V for you is the improvement of actuality, quality, timeliness, and comparability of information. This is achieved by standardization, uniformity of meaning, and reuse of existing data. You contribute to transparency for citizens, healthcare professionals, and all parties participating in the chain. Working according to the KIK-V way means for you an overviewable submission process with more aligned submission moments for clearly defined data. You contribute to an effective and efficient process of data exchange by matching information requests and supply. Also, thanks to the KIK-V way, actueler and better comparable information is available. Team Realisatie You will work within team Realisatie of the KIK-V program, where you will work together with information analysts, ontologists, linked data engineers, and testers responsible for developing and testing exchange profiles. These include functional descriptions, ontology, and SPARQL queries. The team works according to the Agile Scrum way. Product owners have contact with chain partners to determine the necessary exchange profiles, fill in the backlog, and work closely together with team Realisatie. The Management team takes care of the rollout and management of information products. As a Linked Data Engineer, you will be at the heart of the semantic infrastructure, with a strong focus on designing, building, testing, and optimizing SPARQL queries and endpoints. You will do this together with ontologists and information analysts, where exchange profiles are developed as much as possible in a short cycle. Besides development work, you will also pay attention to optimization, so that information products can be developed and managed more efficiently now and in the future. You will work in a socially relevant program, where you directly contribute to improving information provision in healthcare with the latest technologies.
- You develop, optimize, and maintain SPARQL queries and SPARQL endpoints for complex healthcare data applications, using version control in Gitlab.
- You support information analysts together with ontologists in modeling domain knowledge.
- You implement SPARQL endpoints and linked data APIs.
- You set up data validation and perform this, including SHACL.
- You develop Python test scripts.
- Advising the Minister of VWS on the content of the insured package.
- Care for clear explanation of the insured healthcare.
- Fostering quality, affordability, and accessibility of care by signaling opportunities for innovations and improvements in care.
- Fostering digital information exchange in care, including developing information standards.
- Executing risk equalization, which means they manage and distribute the premium fund over health insurance companies and healthcare centers, so that these can fulfill their insurance obligations.
- Managing the Health Insurance Fund (Zvf) and the Long-term Care Fund (Flz) and providing information on costs in care.
