Linguistic Expert – Turkish

Mercor is hiring on behalf of a leading AI research lab to bring on a Linguistic Expert – Turkish (Turkey). This is a part-time opportunity (10–20 hours per week, in person) at one of the following client offices: San Francisco, New York, Atlanta, London, or Singapore. You’ll play a vital role in enhancing AI systems by ensuring accurate, fluent, and culturally aware Turkish (Türkiye) outputs.

Responsibilities

• Review and annotate AI-generated Turkish text for grammatical accuracy and contextual relevance.

• Provide feedback on semantics, idiomatic expressions, and stylistic nuances.

• Create and maintain guidelines to improve Turkish language consistency in AI outputs.

• Partner with researchers to address language-specific challenges.

• Suggest improvements to datasets and linguistic frameworks.

Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in Turkish (Türkiye) and fluency in English.

• Strong command of grammar, syntax, and stylistic conventions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Translation, Literature, or related field.

• Experience in linguistic annotation or content review preferred.

• Familiarity with AI/NLP tools or technologies is a plus.
