Do you enjoy working on technology that keeps moving? As an Elevator Mechanic in our workshop, you ensure that construction elevators remain in top condition. With your technical knowledge, you solve malfunctions and prepare every elevator for use.

Your job as a Workshop Elevator Mechanic at RECO

As an Elevator Mechanic in the workshop of the Vertical Transport department at RECO, you ensure that our construction elevators always operate safely and are ready for the next job. You work on passenger and goods elevators, perform complete inspections, and ensure that malfunctions are quickly resolved. Whether it's mechanical or electrical: you identify the problem and find the appropriate solution. You are not afraid to tackle larger or more complex malfunctions and find a good solution.

Your main tasks include:

✅ Maintaining, inspecting, and preparing construction elevators in our workshop.
✅ Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical and electrical malfunctions.

✅ Independently diagnosing, analyzing, and resolving complex malfunctions;
✅ Working from the workshop and coordinating with fellow mechanics where necessary to collectively arrive at the best solution.

Requirements

What do you bring?

👍 You are available 32 - 40 hours per week from 7 AM to 4 PM;👍 You have work experience in mechatronics and preferably also in electrical engineering;
👍 You have a good command of the Dutch language;
👍 You preferably possess a B driver's license and your own transportation;
👍 You possess a VCA certificate or are willing to obtain one through us;
👍 You are a real doer, take initiative, have problem-solving skills, and can work well in a team.
