Care for a child in their own home

neuewege gGmbH provides care in the alternative care setting "Life in Family" (LiF) for children and adolescents who require support due to disability, behavioral issues, or psychiatric care needs, directly within a family (LiF family).

The child lives with and within the LiF family and is professionally cared for within this framework by the family or the primary caregiver. The child thus receives the necessary attention, a continuous offer of relationship, and a low-stimulus environment, which offers the opportunity to recognize and develop their own resources in a stable, secure setting.

• Professional accompaniment and care as well as support and therapeutic assistance for the LiF child within the family unit
• Collaboration with child and youth welfare services as well as the birth family

• Basic psychosocial training (qualified social worker, registered nurse/midwife, special education and remedial education/social pedagogy, social work, psychology, psychotherapy, special and kindergarten pedagogy).
• Relevant professional experience
• Willingness to provide a long-term care/relationship offer
• Own room for the child being cared for

• An interesting role in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
• Training and professional development opportunities
• Supervision
• Support services for relief
• Professional support for the primary caregiver by the Head of Life in Family
• Additional accident insurance during service (also during leisure time after 5 years of company tenure)
• Holiday opportunities at favorable rates (holiday apartment in Bad Waltersdorf, motorhome)

The classification depends on the qualification level according to SWÖ-KV from 04/2026 for full-time employment starting from VWGr. 7 from EUR 3,074.80 gross – plus SEG allowance.
