Technical Leader (Conversational AI)

Role Summary
We are looking for a Technical Leader with experience in the development and leadership of data and artificial intelligence solutions. This role combines advanced technical skills with strategic leadership to guide teams in the creation of innovative products that leverage the power of data and AI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining the technical architecture, supervising the implementation of solutions, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Main Responsibilities

• Define, supervise, and design the technical architecture of data and artificial intelligence based solutions, establishing the technological vision and selecting appropriate tools and frameworks.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams in the design, development, and operation of machine learning, generative AI, and natural language processing solutions, including microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Validate with the MLOps team, the lifecycle of the models: training, validation, deployment with CI/CD, monitoring, and retraining.
• Deploy and integrate chatbots on WhatsApp, including knowledge of the message pricing model, categorization (marketing, authentication, utility) and seamless integration with human agents for escalation and resolution.
• Actively collaborate with product, business, and UX areas, translating strategic requirements into scalable and sustainable technical solutions.
• Ensure technical quality, promoting good development practices, code reviews, definition of standards and performance metrics.
• Explore and adopt new AI technologies (supervised/unsupervised models, anomaly detection, graphs, generative AI), staying updated on trends and best practices.
• Guarantee data governance and security, complying with privacy policies, access control, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

1. Proven experience (5+ years) leading AI, data science, or advanced analytics projects, including at least 2 years with LLMs or generative AI.
2. Experience in design and implementation of anomaly and behavioral pattern detection solutions, especially in risk or fraud contexts.
3. Solid knowledge in supervised and unsupervised machine learning (regression, trees, clustering, SVM, boosting, etc.).
4. Mastery of Python and machine learning frameworks like Scikit-Learn, PyTorch, and TensorFlow.
5. Experience in backend architecture, microservices design, REST APIs, relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Neo4J, etc.), and asynchronous messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
6. Knowledge of the WhatsApp Business ecosystem: official API, message categories, pricing model, and cost optimization strategies.
7. Experience designing and implementing microservices and event-driven architectures.
8. Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, monitoring systems, training pipelines, and continuous deployment.
9. Solid understanding of NLP techniques, anomaly detection, and graph theory, with practical application in business solutions.
10. Hands-on approach, with the ability to technically lead and actively participate in coding, model review, and architecture definition.

Plus / Desirable (Nice to Have)

• Experience implementing multi-cloud solutions in Azure, AWS, and (desirable) GCP.
• Implementation of data governance and data security
• Implementation of ML/AI pipelines in production, including monitoring and automated retraining.
• Knowledge of various programming languages such as C# (.NET), Java, Golang
• Implementation of data monetization models
• Knowledge of graph theory applied to community detection, relationships between entities, and complex network analysis.
