Driving Safety Leader

We are looking for a Driving Safety and Compliance Leader to drive a culture of operational excellence, prevention, and professional driver development nationwide.
Lead the national strategy for training, certification, and release of internal professional drivers and those from transport companies, ensuring compliance with the highest standards of road safety, operational quality, and regulatory requirements. The position drives a preventive culture through the use of training technologies, the development of technical competencies, and the implementation of best practices in safe driving.
Main Responsibilities
- Design, coordinate, and execute training and certification programs for operational drivers and external transporters.
- Ensure compliance with corporate safety and quality standards, and applicable government regulations for the transport of materials and products.
- Administer and optimize technological training tools, including driving simulators and other specialized systems.
- Evaluate driver performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement action plans aimed at strengthening safe driving habits.
- Develop, update, and implement operating and unloading procedures for different types of transport units.
- Disseminate safety alerts, incident investigations, Safety Grams, bulletins, and best practices to strengthen the prevention culture.
- Coordinate driver participation in training programs and ensure timely completion of mandatory courses.
- Monitor and track key performance indicators for training and driving safety.
- Ensure compliance with established processes and procedures for internal drivers and external transporters.
- Provide specialized support to different regions and operations when required.

- Strengthen the adoption of safe driving and operation behaviors.
- Contribute to the goal of zero incidents and accidents in distribution operations.
- Develop a sustainable safety culture based on prevention, training, and continuous improvement.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Zero rollovers in Bulk distribution operations.
- Annual reduction in vehicle accident rates.
- 100% of drivers trained, evaluated, and certified for the units they operate.
- Full compliance with the annual training program.
- Continuous update of operating and safety procedures.
- Reduction of service events related to driving practices.
Education
Completed Bachelor's Degree or Engineering Degree in:
- Industrial Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Mechanical Administrative Engineering
- Electrical Mechanical Engineering
- Or related fields
Experience
- 5 years in driver supervision.
- 6 years as a training facilitator or instructor.
- 5 years in vehicle regulations and compliance.
- 6 years in operational safety or road safety.
- 5 years of experience in hazardous materials transport and operation of full units.
Languages
- Intermediate or advanced English desirable.
