About the Role

As the Air Product / Procurement Leader, your mission will be to be integrally responsible for the development, growth, and profitability of the air product.

You will have strategic involvement in relationships with airlines and suppliers, as well as cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Operations, and Management areas to identify opportunities, develop new routes, and generate solutions that allow the air cargo business to grow profitably and sustainably.

Responsibilities:

• Define and execute the comprehensive strategy for the air product in Mexico, aligned with the company's commercial and financial objectives.
• Lead the air product team, ensuring competitiveness in rates, capacity, space, and commercial conditions. As well as establishing objectives, KPIs, priorities, and development plans.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with airlines, agents, and suppliers, negotiating agreements that strengthen TIBA's market position.
• Identify and develop new routes, services, consolidations, capacities, and business opportunities to strengthen the product.
• Lead the participation of the air product in tenders and new business opportunities, ensuring competitive and profitable proposals.
• Manage and monitor the Budget, revenue, volume, and profitability of the product, in conjunction with Air Management, taking corrective actions when results are below objectives.
• Analyze market trends, capacity, rates, and airline behavior to anticipate opportunities and risks.
• Work closely with Sales to develop commercial strategies, support key opportunities, and convert client needs into viable air cargo solutions.
• Define strategies for the development and evaluation of suppliers and airlines, ensuring compliance with established service standards.

The ideal candidate:

• Proven experience as a Product / Procurement Leader or equivalent leading air product teams and operations.
• With solid knowledge in international air cargo product, including import and export.
• Deep knowledge of markets, routes, capacities, modalities, and key players in air transport.
• Experience developing product and business growth strategies, not just executing quotes.
• Experience in tenders, bids, new business, and strategic account development.
• Ability to identify market opportunities and convert them into commercial and procurement initiatives.
• Strategic, commercial, negotiation-oriented, proactive, and results-oriented profile.
• Ability to make autonomous decisions and assume integral responsibility for product performance.
• Solid leadership, communication, influence, and team development skills.
