Logistics Leader

At Mabe, we are looking for a Logistics Leader for our Distribution Center in Ciudad Hidalgo, responsible for guaranteeing excellent service to our main clients in Central America.

Purpose of the position

Ensure personalized service to Central American clients by meticulously tracking from the request to product delivery, including corresponding documentation, as well as supervising the logistics operator's operation to meet contractually defined results.

Main Functions

• Timely follow-up on purchase orders to meet billing objectives
• Review and follow up on purchase orders that Central America places in Mexico plants
• Calculate cubic capacity and transport utilization to optimize logistics costs
• Develop the delivery program and coordinate carriers to meet routes to clients and Distribution Centers in Central America
• Manage inventories of the Hidalgo Distribution Center, ensuring adequate product rotation along with Central American teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Engineering in: Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Marketing
• Intermediate English
• 3 to 4 years of experience, including:
• 2-3 years as Head of Logistics and Distribution in Retail or Mass Consumption companies
• Management and scheduling of secondary carriers (invoicing and delivery notes)
• Preparation of reports and analysis of metrics in Excel and Power BI (advanced level — indispensable)
• Personnel leadership for planning and execution of schedules and salaries
• Desirable: SAP WMS management
• Knowledge in industrial safety and quality supervision
