Plastic Injection Machine Leader
Job description
Main responsibilities:
• Lead and support the operational team, also acting in the adjustment and setting of injection molding machines
• Perform and monitor setup and mold changes, optimizing machine downtime
• Monitor process parameters and act in the correction of injection defects
• Monitor productivity, scrap, and efficiency indicators, working with the maintenance and quality departments
Requirements:
• High school diploma (technical degree in Plastics, Mechanics, or related areas is desirable)
• Experience with operation and adjustment of injection molding machines
• Knowledge of setup, mold changes, and overhead crane operation
• Experience in an industrial environment
• Availability to work in shifts (2x2x3 schedule)
Differentiators:
• Reading and interpretation of technical drawings
• Experience with continuous improvement
• Knowledge of autonomous maintenance
