Antenna Leader

Job description

Job Objective:

Support the supervisor in achieving the production program goals of the Antenna area by monitoring machines, materials, and theoretical-practical training for operators.

Main Activities

  • Facilitate and fill out information on metrics for the Antenna area.
  • Execute the escalation system with respective areas as needed.
  • Support the trainer on shift with trainings; develop skills of personnel based on existing work instructions.
  • Cover operational staff shifts in case of rest, vacations, or absences.
  • Fulfill internal labor regulations and established safety requirements by the company.
  • Assume any assigned responsibility and task by your immediate supervisor and fulfill it satisfactorily.
  • Participate actively in improving the Quality Management System, EHS, and ELS
  • Fulfill validation and closure of WO (work orders) for your shift, validate consumption, scrap, and production.
  • Validate Attendance of Assigned Personnel to Shift, communicate any incident or anomaly to supervisor.
  • Orient, train, assign, and verify work of employees
  • Solve advanced questions and problems independently by consulting established procedures and policies.
  • Maintain quality control processes to ensure products/services meet quality standards; lead implementation of process improvements.
  • Translate objectives into team priorities and respond to production needs.
  • Assist Supervisor with production flow, personnel program, and resources for budgeting and planning.
  • Communicate and monitor key operational metrics.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices and standard operating procedures
  • Ensure all reports follow Standard Operating Conditions and training instructions.
  • Collaborate with other functional areas to resolve problems and develop improved manufacturing processes.
  • Provide leadership for continuous improvement projects based on teams.
  • Makes efforts to reduce manufacturing waste and process complexity.

Leadership

  • Monitor and evaluate team members, adjusting training as needed.
  • Act as a role model for the team and agent of change.
  • Lead and positively influence team members to work together and achieve individual and business goals.
  • Acting as an interface, represents the Team in general with the rest of the organization.
  • May provide information to management regarding individual performance of team members.
