Customs and Foreign Trade Leader

An e-Commerce company is looking for a Customs and Foreign Trade Leader to comprehensively manage its import and export operations, strengthening the company's customs and regulatory compliance.

The position will play a key role in ensuring the correct execution of foreign trade operations, preventing regulatory and fiscal risks, and generating improvements to optimize costs, times, and customs processes.

Gross monthly salary: $35,000 to $40,000 + legal benefits

Required Profile

• Bachelor's degree in International Trade, International Business, International Relations, or similar.
• 3 to 4 years of experience in similar customs and foreign trade positions.
• Advanced knowledge of the Customs Law, Foreign Trade Law, and General Foreign Trade Rules.
• Experience in tariff classification and TIGIE.
• Knowledge of Non-Tariff Regulations and Restrictions (RRNA).
• Experience working with customs brokers, carriers, and logistics operators.
• Knowledge of international trade agreements and treaties.
• Advanced English.
• Analytical, organized profile with high attention to detail and negotiation skills.

Main Responsibilities

• Coordinate import and export operations, ensuring timely clearance and release of goods.
• Ensure compliance with customs and foreign trade legislation.
• Validate tariff classification, customs declarations, documentation, and non-tariff regulations.
• Coordinate operations with customs brokers, carriers, shipping lines, and logistics operators.
• Identify risks, incidents, and opportunities for cost and process optimization.
• Track KPIs, audits, and regulatory changes related to foreign trade.

We are looking for a person with solid technical knowledge of foreign trade, but also with the ability to organize processes, anticipate risks, and generate efficiencies in operations.
