Licensed Cadastral Surveyor – Tauranga

About the Role
As a Licensed Cadastral Surveyor, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality outcomes across a variety of projects. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Project planning, including setting key milestones and deliverables.
  • Managing, tracking, and reporting project progress.
  • Collaborating closely with Directors and Managers on project updates and ensuring quality assurance of cadastral surveys.
  • Supervising and administering contracts, attending client meetings, and driving business development for key projects.
  • Assisting the leadership team with office management tasks, identifying opportunities and solutions, and contributing to hiring activities, including interviewing and mentoring staff.
  • Training and supporting Graduate Surveyors and technicians to build future capability within the team.

About You
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
  • A Bachelor of Surveying (BSurv) or equivalent tertiary qualification.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the New Zealand surveying industry.
  • Proficiency with LandOnline.
  • Membership with Consulting Surveyors of New Zealand and/or Survey and Spatial NZ is desirable.
  • Familiarity with 12D, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD is advantageous.
  • Proven experience with a variety of complex cadastral surveys.
