About the Role
As a Licensed Cadastral Surveyor, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality outcomes across a variety of projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Project planning, including setting key milestones and deliverables.
- Managing, tracking, and reporting project progress.
- Collaborating closely with Directors and Managers on project updates and ensuring quality assurance of cadastral surveys.
- Supervising and administering contracts, attending client meetings, and driving business development for key projects.
- Assisting the leadership team with office management tasks, identifying opportunities and solutions, and contributing to hiring activities, including interviewing and mentoring staff.
- Training and supporting Graduate Surveyors and technicians to build future capability within the team.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- A Bachelor of Surveying (BSurv) or equivalent tertiary qualification.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the New Zealand surveying industry.
- Proficiency with LandOnline.
- Membership with Consulting Surveyors of New Zealand and/or Survey and Spatial NZ is desirable.
- Familiarity with 12D, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD is advantageous.
- Proven experience with a variety of complex cadastral surveys.
