Head of Accounting (m/f/d)

We are seeking a Head of Accounting (m/f/d) to start no later than January 1, 2027.

Responsibilities

With your sure instinct for numbers, you will undertake the following tasks:

• With professional competence, you will lead, coordinate, and support our accounting team in daily business and further develop it.
• You will reliably and punctually prepare the annual and consolidated financial statements.
• You will prepare and monitor the economic plan.
• The management of fixed assets is your responsibility.
• As a point of contact, you will communicate with banks, the tax office, tax advisors, and auditors.
• You will actively contribute your experience and ideas to various projects and diverse special tasks.
• In the absence of the Head of Administration & IT, you will assume their representative role.

Qualifications

Ideally, you will bring the following:

• Completed studies in business or law, or training as a tax assistant, ideally with further training as a certified accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter).
• Several years of professional experience in corporate accounting and in the preparation of annual and consolidated financial statements, or as an auditor at an auditing firm.
• You are tech-savvy and drive digitalization forward.
• You are proficient in using Excel and DATEV.
• Excellent written communication skills, economic thinking, and commitment characterize you.
