Head of Quality Management / Quality Assurance (m/f/d)

Our client is an internationally successful industrial company in the field of pump, dosing, and system technology. Technically sophisticated products and solutions for various industrial applications are developed and produced at the site near Würzburg.

In the position of Head of Quality Assurance, you will be responsible for quality management and quality assurance and will lead a small team at two German locations.

Responsibilities

• Technical and disciplinary leadership of the quality assurance department
• Ensuring and continuously developing the quality management system
• Responsibility for compliance with and further development of requirements according to DIN EN ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
• Planning, preparation, and execution of internal audits as well as support for external audits
• Responsibility for certifications and associated documentation
• Further development of processes, procedural, and work instructions
• Coordination and monitoring of product and process quality
• Close collaboration with production, development, purchasing, and other departments
• Advising departments on quality-related issues

Qualifications

• Completed university degree, technician qualification, or a comparable technical qualification
• Several years of professional experience in quality management or quality assurance in a manufacturing company
• Good knowledge of quality management systems, especially ISO 9001
• Experience with internal and external audits
• Leadership experience is desirable, alternatively you bring the motivation and personality for the next step into a leadership role
• Technical understanding as well as a structured and solution-oriented way of working
• Strong communication skills and the ability to pragmatically further develop quality together with the departments
• Very good German and good English, both spoken and written
