About Finding Heads International

Finding Heads International GmbH is one of the leading companies specializing in Executive Search for leadership positions, based in Wolfsburg. People are at the center of our work, and we see ourselves as advocates for companies as well as for our candidates. Our team consists of colleagues with many years of management and leadership experience.

Your Responsibilities

Responsibility for a large production site within an internationally positioned industrial group

  • You will be responsible for all personnel-related issues at the site – both operationally and strategically.

  • You will lead and develop the HR team and strengthen collaboration within the HR department and with the group's HR departments.

  • As a sparring partner, you will advise management and executives on personnel-related matters.

  • You will conduct negotiations and ongoing communication with the works council, constructively and confidently representing the company's interests.

  • You will further develop modern leadership instruments, such as goal systems, feedback processes, and performance management.

  • You will systematically build up personnel development and talent programs and shape strategic personnel planning as well as succession planning.

  • You will support organizational development and change processes and develop appropriate HR concepts.

  • You will further develop HR key figures, reporting, and controlling, thereby creating a sound basis for corporate management.

  • You will also take on selected topics operationally, including labor law issues and supporting court proceedings.

  • You will align HR work at the site with the corporate group's strategy and promote common standards, collaboration, and synergies.

Your Profile

  • Completed degree in law, business administration, psychology, or a comparable qualification

  • Several years of leadership experience in HR, ideally in a manufacturing company

  • Extensive experience in collaboration and negotiation with works councils

  • Sound knowledge of labor law; experience with payroll

  • Good knowledge of SAP and MS Office

  • Experience in strategic HR work, personnel development, and organizational change

Your Personality

You keep the big picture in mind and derive clear priorities and concrete actions from it. At the same time, you will also get involved in operational matters yourself when necessary and conduct difficult conversations. You provide direction, consistently drive projects forward, and ensure their sustainable implementation.

In your interactions with employees and the works council, you communicate clearly, reliably, and in an audience-appropriate manner. You possess a confident demeanor, negotiation skills, and high resilience. You combine clear leadership with a good sense for people and the team's situation.

The search will be conducted confidentially. We will discuss company and site details with qualified candidates in a personal interview.

Our client is an established industrial company with several locations domestically and internationally. A new position is being created for a large production site: an experienced leader is sought to strengthen local HR work, develop it strategically, and shape it together with the group's HR team.
