About us:

Our D`Orphée Kulturgastronomie GmbH operates the catering for employees and guests at the German Opera am Rhein from August 2025. In addition to the break service and events of the Oper Düsseldorf, we are now also responsible for the culinary well-being of the opera staff. As in all our gastronomic businesses, we work with fresh products and process mainly seasonal produce from regional suppliers. Our coffee comes from our own bio-certified moxxa-roasting facility. Vegan, gluten-free, and lactose-free dishes are always available on our menu. Classic cuisine finds its place here as well as exciting combinations that always make you want more.

Tasks

Your tasks:

• Leading, motivating and working with a dynamic team
• Organizing, coordinating and controlling the smooth service flow and quality standards
• Planning, organizing and conducting events
• Scheduling and ensuring productivity and operational readiness
• Inducting and continuously training your staff
• Maintaining key figures
• General administrative tasks

Qualification

Your profile:

• Completed vocational training in the hospitality industry, comparable qualification or several years of experience in a leadership position
• Engagement, empathy and assertiveness
• High social and professional competence
• Team spirit, creativity and flexibility
• Interest in further development
